The foundation of all interpersonal relationships is communication. Communication is the way relationships are begun. It is the way we get to know each other and when it breaks down, it is the reason our relationships fall apart. Sometimes communication seems hard to figure out. Sometimes interpersonal relationships seem mysterious. But, understanding these things can be learned and applied successfully in your life.
You may have noticed that sometimes you feel like you can communicate well and sometimes you feel like you can't. You have the basic ability to communicate but without a good understanding of the parts of communication and how they work, you will find that you do not have a lot of control over when you do it well and when you can't do it at all.
